Family Night Beach Party

Last night they had a family night at the school we had a lot of fun even though we didn't really participate in all the activities it was fun none the less!

Easter Bunny Art

So in honor of Easter the kids where given a bunny to color, Trysten colored his black..while not the traditional white bunny still there are black bunnies but pretty sure the blue LIGHT SABER is a new one for the teacher.

Who's Idea was this??

Is what we were thinking this am when we had to get up at 6:30 on a Saturday to be at the field for "Skills Day". Trysten refused to wear a coat because the weather man said it was going to be sunny, I guess Trystne learned the hard way that the weatherman doesn't know what he is talking about. After we warmed up with some hot chocolate!

TBALL Season Begins!

Well yesterday was Trysten's 1st tball practice of the season. I'm not sure if he is the oldest kid on the team but he is definitely the tallest! The next boy is probably at Trysten's chest level. He had fun none the less despite having a girl coach he was happy that there was another BOY coach. His first game is not until 5/2.

Easter Bunny Money

This is what a boy who just bought his own meal looks like. Thanks to the Easter Bunny Trysten was able to buy us dinner at McDonalds and a new movie XMEN!

A new trick

Trysten learned how to ride his bike without training wheels right before we left for Texas! I was finally able to catch it on video! Look at him go!

Pre-Easter Egg Hunt

We had an Easter Egg Hunt at Grandma and Bopa's on Saturday since T would be spending Easter with his dad. Trysten had a lot of fun searching for the eggs and got an awesome basket! Grandpa told a crazy story about the Easter bunny who looked like a chicken who grew to elephant size to poop out the easter basket! We stayed for dinner and by the end of the night Trysten was pretty whinny when Grandma asked him for a hug he tried to say no, so she tackled him for hugs and kisses

The week after...

Well nothing terribly exciting to report, we survived the week after vacation. Despite that we hate the alarm waking us and not being able to wake on our own, also that we can't do what we want all day and actually have to work or go to school is a pretty rude awakening, especially when Trysten want's soda all the time cause he got "it in Texas".

HOME cold HOME

Trysten and "IT"

We headed out to the local cowboy store to find a hat for Trysten, cause he really wanted one! It was a little worrysome cause his head didn't fit the kid hats but thankfully we got a cowboy to help us and he sold Trysten on the hat. We also went to Trudy's resturant which had a stuffed avocado meal that was so good! When we got back home Trais had to hit the sack early cause he had school again the next day. Trysten got to stay up with the grown ups and "IT" that is what he calls Trais sister Avery Layne. It was pretty funny.
