Chuck E Cheese

Thanks to the generous christmas gift we headed out to Chuck E Cheeses today! We got there early enough that we thought we were going to beat the traffic home before the 2nd wave of the storm hit. But we had to go by the mall and apparently everyone else was trying to finish up thier xmas shopping!

On the 21st day of christmas my mommy gave to me...

6 is old enough to work right?

Today more snow came in and school was again cancelled. So Trysten came to work with Mommy! He did very well spent 7 1/2 hours sitting by my playing his psp, doing some book work and coloring pictures for the staff. He also scored big and was given a $25.00 christmas present from one of my co-workers! THANKS BILL!

Snow Day

Well today school was called off on account of snow, which is a little annoying since there is no snow on the roads here! Trysten and I took that as an oppurtunity to get some xmas errands done. After mailing out Trais present we hit up the proctor district discovering many of the cool shops there including the really cool toy store which is similar to one of my child hood toy stores; Kelly's Toy Store in Gig Harbor when the store was in it's prime. We also found the Art and Soul and painted ourselves a nice ornament. Then after lunch we headed to Odyssey 1 for a few hours then to Grandma's to say HI. We also attended my friend's gig to raise money for the CHAMPIONS CHILDREN FOUNDATIONS at Java Fusion.

Looks so peaceful doesn't he? Warmin up with his cocoa

Oh my a toy store with no deadline to leaving!

Parent-Teacher Conference #2

Tonight we attended Trysten's second parent teacher conference of the year. His teacher and the principle where there to discuss Trysten's academics as well as his behavior. Overall his academics have improved and he is moving right along with reading he can recognize 62 sight words the goal for the end of the year is 200. The big focus was on his behavior the stated that he seems to not be able to "settle" which was very obvious at this point because he was writing post its for both myself and Rachelle during the whole conference. I think we will have to have him assessed by a behavioral specialist. Although I honestly don't think his behavior is abnormal for a 6 year old boy.

Festival of Trees

So every year we go to the Festival of Trees with Grandpa Mike this year was no different, we had a good time despite Trysten being his usual self. Here are a few pics we snapped of:
