Playing with Water

Today Trais had school so we spent the day hanging around at the house then we took a walk down to the lake! It was pretty warm again a little windy still fun!

After school Trais had swim lessons so we tagged along and went for a swim! After the class Trais and Trysten had some time to play together and Trais took the swim test for the first time! He didn't quite make it but it was soo cool to see him try.

Today we took a field trip to the Natural Bridge Caverns!! It was amazingly beautiful hike down through some crazy tunnels and walkways! We had a ton of fun but Trysten did get a little scared on the way in! He eventually got over it cause it wasn't scarry at all! Afterwards we went to a really cool cafe that was famous for it's pancakes..we ofcourse were not interested in the pancakes but enjoyed our meal non the less.

FInally Texas!

After 2 planes we landed in Austin at 10:30 at night! The boys picked off right where they left off! They goofed around until 2:00am and then it was bed time!! Today we took it easy trying to adjust to the time change we went to Costco, checked out the local park and enjoyed some amazing dinner thank's to Donny!

So Trysten went on his first grade field trip today to see a play. His review was of the play is as follows:

"It was dumb. I'm tired of all the girl stuff! I want to see a darth vader play."

Trysten's First Laundry Mart Experience

Well our washer broke last week...I told Trysten that we would be going to the laundry mat and you would thought I said we were going to Disneyland! He was soo excited to watch "stuff spin". Must be a boy thing...Here are some pics of the event:

Storybook Cottage

This weekend Trysten went to meet his Great Aunt Bridget who was here from Minnesota, she was staying with Grandpa Mike at one of his friends house the Storybook Cottage in Ollala. It was a pretty nice house and the grounds were a lot of fun! We spent the whole day and had a good dinner thanks to Evonne the owner:)
