Well it's official, I just bought tickets for Trysten and I to go visit Trais in Texas, during Trysten's spring break in March. Trysten has been super excited at the thought of being able to fly down and see his cousin he misses him so much! And I am super excited for our first trip together on an airplane:)

I think Trysten has been getting a civil rights history lesson in class cause on the way home today. I learned all about Luther Martin Jr King or Martin Jr Luther. Apparently Trysten learned that he had to hide in the back of shoe stores, watch movies from the balcony, and he got shot by a real gun. Oh yeah and the police man called MLK "BOY" which is crazy on account of him being a man! I wish I could have recorded the conversation cause his recounts where priceless!

Tae Kwon Do Birthday

Today we attended a birthday party for one of Trysten's classmate, Kush. It was at a local tae kwon do studio, and the kids had a ton of fun!

New Teacher

Trysten starts back to school with a NEW class and a NEW teacher. He is still at the same school, but just moved to a smaller class in hopes of giving him more one on one attention. This move was based on a recommendation made by the principal before winter break, she stated that she believed there to be too many "triggers" in the other class room. So today will be his first day in the new class.

**update**
After his first day in his new class, he had nothing to report. Except he had to write a poem in the morning. He is sitting on his own, which I am unsure if that is the way the class is set up or if he is getting special treatment again.
